Project: Backyard Concrete Patio

After an old rotten deck was ripped out, the owner preferred to put in a backyard feature, a bit more permanent and low maintenance. Concrete patios are a good solution for anyone who wants a simple, elegant, clean backyard look. Comparing the price of a deck to a concrete patio can be similar for similar square footage with just as many variations in colors and textures. Depicted here is a standard grey color with a broom finish. There are also options for coloring or stamped, and we are happy to help find the finish you’re looking for. Decks are ideal for tall houses or hillside living, but for residences that reside on fairly level ground and not very far from the soil level, concrete patios can’t be beaten! The subgrade prep is always key to a good quality concrete feature, we excavate down to allow for 4-6 inches of subbase, and 4-6 inches of concrete on top. After all the concrete is set and dried the occasional pressure wash is all you need to keep the patio looking great for a lifetime!
